Among the many positive things that characterized Diatec Trentino’s perfect start of 2017 Unipolsai Play-off phase, the one about Tiziano Mazzone is the best one for sure. After the brilliant performance in the field during the A22 derby on last February 19th, the spiker from Lazio coming from Trentino Volley’s youth team gained space again in change of Simone Giannelli every time that Giannelli had to go for the service. A shoulder muscular strain for the player from Bolzano and the chance to rotate two Under 23 in the field without solution of continuity (as prescribed from Fipav regulations) allowed Tiziano to show to his public and to Monza’s one also his service quality, scoring two aces – one foe every match.
“I didn’t expect to find such as much space during this decisive phase of the season, but helping the team it is obviously a great honor for me, and a great pleasure – said at Trentino Volley Tv - . This way I feel even more part of this group; having the possibility to play great part of the match versus Modena gave me great incentives and fortified my self-convinction. I felt my teammates very satisfied about my performances, the rest came as a result. We did well to win match 1 versus Monza, but especially to achieve the victory in match 2, which has been very hard to gain".
The one starting on Monday will be a very important week – concluded Tiziano - : between Wednesday and Perugia we will host at PalaTrento two high-qualityteams as Piacenza and Perugia, for different aims but equally essentials. We need to keep believing in what we’re doing and try to go as far as we can”.
